FASHION: Material design photos

Creating designs from my one chosen shape. shown on the right, with the use of heavy, medium and light weight fabric. Doing this as an exploration of how different weight fabric changes the shape and form of the initial shape and creates new and different shapes to each other.
My fabric are: heavy weight-Leatherette, medium weight-curtain lining, light weight-dress lining.


Design ideas 1. mainly heavy fabric the use of a one small shape of light fabric for the shoulder piece.

Design 2. A mix of heavy, medium and light weight fabric

Mix of two different colours of a heavy weight  fabric (leatherette)

medium weight fabric (curtain lining)

Design 3. Heavy and light weight fabric. Collar with shoulder piece, would make a nice blouse or top of a dress.

Design 4. neck-line shoulder and bust detail.
