SCULPTURE: Taking Flight

Taking Flight through growth and suspension of materials.
Below are images of my step by step process of how my sculpture piece has evolved, through adding and suspending materials
Added: cut decorative brown cardboard, light white paper and a piece of  string painted red in places, seen at top of image.

Added: two pieces of brown cardboard perpendicularly attached together to the decorative brown cardboard.

Added two black plastic bags  unopened.

Image from another angle.
Added: two polistiring cups, and two pieces of silver reflective insulator. Both attached together and hanging one below the other and hanging from the black plastic bags.

capturing the contrast of light and shade, the flat wall and the crinkled materials

Previous each of the materials i had pined to the wall together. What i have done here is taken the pins out and attached each piece to there surrounding pieces.
Here i have moved the piece out from the wall, suspending it  from wire attached to the pipes above.
Moving materials outward.
Light shining on the Materials creating shadows I feel are ascetically pleasing to the eye.

Added polystyrene cups seen in the background.

The video below captures the movement within the piece.
